Camp
Shamrock
1999

Camp Shamrock is one experience that will not be forgotten, and one we hope we can experience again. We gained many new friendships with the campers and other counselors as well as insights to ourselves and what God has given and done for us.

The weather was wonderful for outdoor activities (left).
Bible class was held everyday in a different part of the forest, and almost every day we did another big activity.

One day the whole camp took a seven mile hike through the Mourne Mountains and several other days the girls wend bouldering (climbing through waterfalls and up rocks embedded in the river).
Ten days of "roughing it" certainly teaches you to appreciate what you have.  Sleeping in tents is never luxurious especially when you share it with 3 to 7 other girls.
We had one large tent which was used for all our meals and assemblies when we couldn't go outside.
