Setting up camp is a huge task each year. When we arrived there was just a big open field. It was hard to imagine what it would look like in less than 48 hours when the kids arrived.

One of the most difficult tasks is digging the trenches around each tent to drain away the water when it rains. Here Janet (above right), Donté & Shawn(below), and Garith & Brad(right) dig these trenches.

Getting to know one another is another important part of setup day as people come from all over the world to help with camp. Below is the staff enjoying a game of football.
