Bert Ritchie, speaking to you. I can honestly say that one of the highlights of my 32 years in church ministry has been serving at Camp Shamrock. I frequently meet adults who have fond memories of Camp when they were young and speak of it as some of the best years of their life. On top of all that I have some of the best colleagues imaginable working with me. My home is in Bushmills.

Hi, I’m Sheba Clinton and I live in Coleraine. When work as a civil servant is not demanding my time, I like to stay active in working with our young people.

Fintan Horgan here, from Dublin. My background in the army and engineering has equipped me with some practical skills, which are useful in my work at Camp Shamrock.

Hi, Liam Mac Namara here from Dublin. I am the newest member of the Board of Camp Shamrock – so I am still learning the ropes (pardon the pun). As a banker I have been asked to keep track of the finances for the camp. I enjoy going to camp and seeing the campers growing up and maturing as the years pass. It is a great honour to be involved in this work and to be on the Board.

Hello, My name is Alex McGuiggan from Bangor, and I’ve worked with camp shamrock for more years than I can remember. Being invited to serve on the board was an honour and privilege. My work as a teacher allowed me the time to devote to the camp in the summer.

In 2010, Alex resigned from the board. However, Alex will continue in an advisory capacity to the board. We thank Alex for his many years of hard work to help make Camp Shamrock what it is today.
